IOS 7 app store update list does not clear after updates have been installed

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this. After spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to fix this on a new ipad, finally used the right syntax to get to your post. The fix you stated worked fine and cleared, finally, all my umpteen app updates. Can't believe this has been an issue for 6 months and not fixed yet. This isn't being picky--I need to quickly see that all apps are up to date; not have to spend time scrolling through a long list every time. NOTE: I did have to go back and make sure location settings enabled for time &amp; date before it would automatically revert to current time.

But you don't have to scroll through the list. The ones at the top are the latest. If it says "Open," that means you're done with them.

If you do not want to see this list just update the apps via itunes and there won't be any list on iphone/ipad

I only update my apps via iTunes on my computer, and I have this issue.

And if it's a feature, it's broken. It isn't consistent; this seems to happen sporadically. It doesn't do it on my iPad or iPod Touch, and it finally quit doing it on my previous iPhone, but I just got a replacement and it's doing it again.
