I can not restore because I can not turn off Find my Iphone

Hello,

I'm using iphone 5 with ios 7. I just upgraded ios 7 today. after upgrade I realised that passcode was activated before upgrade I was not using that feature. I forgot my passcode so I got my phone disabled for a while. I searched the discussions and saw that I need to restore and then restore from back up to have the passcode to disable. When I try to restore my phone I got the below message:

Find My iPhone must be turned off before “Jean” can be restored.

Go to iCloud Settings on your iPhone and turn off Find My iPhone before restoring your iPhone.

I can not turn off Find my Iphone because my phone locked and I forgot the passcode.

Anyone can help?

iPhone 5, iOS 7

Same problem here.

This is ridiculous! In the end it's so "safe" I can't get to it anymore. Even if I have the computer to which it syncs, even if I have the iCloud account credentials... Unbelievable.

Are there any workarounds to this at all?

Get you money refunded from whomever you purchased it.

If you remember the Apple/iCloud ID, you can go to: FORGOT APPLE ID and reset the password. If you don't remember the answers to the Security Questions, you can contact Apple Support to get a reset link:

ACCOUNT SECURITY SUPPORT

You can also take the receipt from the original purchase (meaning from an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller) into an Apple Store, and if you have proof of identity, they may be able to remove the lock for you.

Best of luck,
