Vibrate not working at all with iOS7

I updated to iOS7 the day it came out and thought all was going fine but only now, I'm realizing that the vibrate feature hasn't worked once since.

Prevoiusly, I just thought that it doesn't vibrate when my phone is plugged in (when I'd receive text messages) but it just dawned on me that it hasn't vibrated at all since. When I switch from Normal mode to Silent mode, no vibration. When I go to settings and try out the different Vibrate modes, I feel nothing. My phone doesn't vibrate when I plug it into my laptop as well. I'm wondering something happened between when I upgraded to iOS7?

Is there any way to troubleshoot this problem?

I just reset my iPhone today (all content and settings) and restored it to a recent backup but still the same issue.

Do you think I should just take it to an Apple Specialist at the Apple Store?

I HAVE FOUND THE REASON WHY VINRATE IS NOT WORKING WITH THE IPHONE 5C!!!! There is a matter inside the phone that makes it vibrate and with some of the older iPhones it is getting stuck. Instead of paying to have it fixed, simply slap the back of your iPhone. Slap near the apple symbol.

Wow this was totally my issue for months, didn't even know Do Not Disturb was turned on haha

I has this same problem and also thought it was the hardware, but it isn't! Go to Settings > general > accessibility > Scroll down to find vibrate and switch it to on! And boom, the problem is fixed!

After trying basically everything (reseting, restoring, even changing the phone etc etc) the thing that fixed my problem was

Settings - General - Accessibility - (under interaction) it says Vibration. Turn it on!!!!! Voila!! *this is not the same vibration under sounds

Anyways, I hope it works for you!! finally mine is fixed!!!

I have found a way the must easy to fix this issue all i did was go to Setting >> General >> Accessibility >> Vibration >> turn on and it worked for me simple this a issue i had with my iphone 7
