Im not sure about having updated my Iphone 4s to ios 7, but it was a brand new christmas present I got, but I seem to be having the same problems generally described here. My Iphone wont get charge from any charger I try it with, be it apple supplied or not. In a wall charger It will say it is fully charged, 100% battery, but the second I remove it from charge it dies so I have no way of taking it anywhere. when plugged into a computer to connect to itunes, it displays an apple symbol as it starts turning on, but then it will turn off and after about 20 seconds or so will repeat the process. I have put it into recovery mode to restore and update it, but after extracting the update to install it, it tries to prepare the iPhone and comes up with (error 2001), which I understand is a hardware problem. from what i've read im nearly certain this is the same problem others have been having, a problem in the Battery or more likely the Power management ICU, as it was overheating itself regularly and I even resorted to keeping it out of its case to try and keep its temperature down, as I was slightly curious about the high temperature I didnt feel was quite normal. Either way, it was working until I put it onto charge one night and when I woke up the next morning it was experiencing the problems I have detailed. I know not to expect apple advice in this forum from the Terms and conditions, but judging by the number of people experiencing this problem recently I am hoping that they make some announcement of this, atleast withing the company, so when I take it into the apple store and show these problems they will admit responsibility for this error and I wont have to pay for any repairs or replacing that needs to be done, regardless of warranty or not. This is an apple error, or so I firmly beleive, and I am worrying about the warranty status of my phone as it was bought overseas.
