5c screen glass seems loose?

Hi, just was in London's Regent Street Genius Bar. My 5C is being replaced again.

Spoke to the manager and they say this is how the phone is manufactured and according to them these issues are within tolerance.

Well they might say that but I think for £549 you can do better I guess..

There's no other phone manufacturer on this planet that would consider a loose screen "within tolerances" but I actually believe the manager, Apples tolerances are clearly much lower than everybody elses yet they're happy to charge a premium for their hardware, the mind boggles. Mine has gone back yet again, waiting on replacement number 7 now.

Replacement no. 7? You really should be looking at the way you treat your phone. I am yet to see an IPhone 5C returned because of what claim.

But believe what you will, though if you can't provide reliable links to your claims then we will take your claims with a pinch of salt.

I treat my phones very well not that it's relevant as all have had loose screens on arrival. I can also provide every repair ID for each phone. Is it your sole intention just to troll other users on these forums?

I have never seen an iPhone 5 of any description with a loose screen. You must be one unlucky person. Anthow, have it out with Apple, not us. Ring their Support line in your country.

We're having a discussion about loose screens on the iPhone 5C, the thread title surely gives that away? If you don't want to contribute anything worthwhile to this one why don't you go and find another thread to be a pest in?

Doesn't seem to be much of a discussion. A couple of claims and you suddenly suggest that every 5S in the world has a loose screen, yet you cannot provide any links to back it up? And 7 replacements? Why don't you try a different model phone?

Sorry, my mistake, 6 repair/replacements, 2 not showing as they were direct retail replacements via Service & Support Admin in the USA.

As for trying a different phone, why should I? I paid for this one and it's second hand value is next to nothing. It would take a really special kind of idiot to go and fork out another 500 quid on another model of phone rather than try to get the one they've already purchased fixed. Obviously this is something you'd consider ...

I wouldnt even bother trying to return the phone - Apple will probably pinch your pennys and ask for a payment

Make an appointment with an Apple Genius, and discuss your options. I'm not sure what you thought you'd accomplish by complaining online, and then doing nothing else.

Apple Genius' are not so Genius - its apples way or on your way it seems these days.

So is it seven, six or four? You don't want help here, you simply wish to rant.

So got my phone back from repair today and the screen is actually worse, now literally half of the screen is loose. Really poor show from Apple, I've had to engage Trading Standards to deal with my mobile network provider to see if I can replace the handset with a different manufacturers or cancel my contract due to the it not being fit for purpose.

Resubmit it for repair? So for the 6th time in 2 months I'm without a phone for a week? How about Apple put some quality control procedures in place and actually check their repairs prior to sending them back to customers? Surely that would be the sensible thing to do?

No you can't. You are here to troll and annoy people and offering no constructive input. Posters like you come here regularly to post misinformation in someone else's thread . Do you want someone here to come around and hold your hand while you take your phone to an Apple Store? 😉
