5c screen glass seems loose?

I got the green 5c on launch day (UK) , however its only today i noticed that the glass on my screen seems slightly loose on the right hand side?

It doesn't seem to have affected the functionality of the phone, but if i press the right hand of the screen i can feel it moving up/down and it sort of clicks. I was debating taking it back to the apple store on my day off to ask them and maybe get a replacement, because its kind of annoying, plus I did pay nearly £470 for it..

I know the 5c is more cheaply made but I wasn't expecting to have this sort of problem 3 days into owning the device?

So got my phone back from repair today and the screen is actually worse, now literally half of the screen is loose. Really poor show from Apple, I've had to engage Trading Standards to deal with my mobile network provider to see if I can replace the handset with a different manufacturers or cancel my contract due to the it not being fit for purpose.

Daniel......some advice:

This is not a chat room, yet you seem to be using the forum as such. This is a user to user technical support forum hosted by Apple Your posts have been removed pretty rapidly today because you keep abusing the terms of use you agreed to when you joined Apple Discussion.

You're probably one shot away from being banned permanently, so if I were you, I'd stop doing what you've been doing.

If your repair/service from Apple isn't correct, then contact Apple and resubmit it for repair.

OK I see, these forums are on apple servers so not really good place to provide constructive help.

Now, with that in the picture I really recommend people to use google 🙂

How did you not know that this forum was on Apple's servers?

This is the perfect place for user-to-user technical assistance, not for a discussion of Apple's policies.

If you want to submit feedback to Apple, go to www.apple.com/feedback.

Thanks.

Guys maybe you know if Apple still has 5C 16GB replacements available? I know that for some time Apple has been only selling 8GB versions.

If yes, then when I am offered a replacement 5C, can I trade it in on the spot as new device and pay the difference to get 5S?

I just want to get rid of this model but I feel I should not bare all the costs as I have already repaired it few times and the issue is reoccuring.

No. They will have refurbished 5C 16GB models available for people like you.

Cheers

Well thanks that was really helpful. As long as they have It Every two months I go to Genius Bar I will be okay 🙂

If you are needing you phone repaired or swapped every two months then I would look at the way you treat it as it is not a common issue with the other millions of users that I have seen reported anywhere. If you wish for a later model phone then buy one.

Thanks but your comments are not helping here. I treat my phone with care, I always keep it in a case and the phone was never dropped. As you can see from this thread many users have similar issues.

I don't wish for a later model (by the way 5S is not later model), I just want a phone that does not brake every few weeks, but if Apple is happy to repair it every 90 days and rather do that than allow me to upgrade because of the design flaw, I will do just that.

I have had ipad 2 for over 3 years now and the hardware is really great. Never had issues with it. The same goes about my old 4S. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about build quality of 5C and I am sure many people here will agree with me.

So, again, if apple cannot fix my 5C permanently, the only thing to do is to take it back constantly for repair. And I recommend everybody with similar issue to do so. That's it.
