5c screen glass seems loose?

I got the green 5c on launch day (UK) , however its only today i noticed that the glass on my screen seems slightly loose on the right hand side?

It doesn't seem to have affected the functionality of the phone, but if i press the right hand of the screen i can feel it moving up/down and it sort of clicks. I was debating taking it back to the apple store on my day off to ask them and maybe get a replacement, because its kind of annoying, plus I did pay nearly £470 for it..

I know the 5c is more cheaply made but I wasn't expecting to have this sort of problem 3 days into owning the device?

Thanks for answering, Peter.. there is no Apple store here in the philippines. Unlike there in US, we only have Power Mac Center. It is the top and most legit seller of Apple products here in the Phil. Didn't bought it on a brand new authorized reseller shop, so I'm a million percent sure and confident that it is orig and not grey import. Thanks again, Peter!! 🙂

I am having the same problem and my phone is brand new... Both the upper left corner and the bottom right corner are un-gluing and causing me to not be able to functionally use my screen. Very disappointed in the new Iphones was hoping the new phones would be higher quality. The color is blue and I've talked to a few people with the same problem.

My wife has an iPhone 5c that is only one month old. The glass popped out of the case and when she tried to pop it back in the glass cracked. We took the phone to the local Apple store looking for assistance. There is clearly a defect with the phone, as it is new and has never been dropped, damaged, etc. I have always received great customer service from Apple but today was the exception. The Apple employee informed me there was nothing he could do and it would cost me $120 to repair the phone. I told them there was a defect with the phone, in fact the local AT&T store told me they have seen this problem with the 5c multiple times.

I spoke with the manager at the Apple store and explained the problem with the phone and told him that the cost to repair the phone was unreasonable, as the phone is defective and the repair cost is more than we paid for the phone. To add salt to my wound, the Apple employee tried popping the glass back in, he completely broke the glass, and made the phone completely useless. The manager's response was, "well it would have happened eventually."

Needless to say I am totally shocked by the horrible customer service I received.

Anyone else have this problem with the iPhone 5c and do you have any suggestions?

If anyone thinks that the screen issue on the 5C is unusual, it's not, I've had 2 replacement 5C's (one refurb and one brand new) and 3 repairs so far and I'm now waiting on the latest 5C to be returned from yet another repair. The only thing you can do is constantly send them back as soon as part of the screen starts clicking, when you're out of warranty though you're going to have to pay for these repairs and no amount of complaining (believe me, I've tried, right up to the executive liaison team) will get you anywhere.

Just remember this when you're due to upgrade your handset and pick a different manufacturer.

Thanks, but what can we do about it? I suggest everybody with this issue start with leaving product feedback here https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

On the other hand if they replace a screen and you are approaching end of warranty for your iphone, you still have 90 days warranty for the replacement part/phone so I suggest to make a claim every 2 months or so.

The question: what if I want to have a replacement but they do not have 16GB 5C in stock anymore? As far as I know they only now sell 5C with 8GB?
