movie rental problems Apple TV

Apple TV upgraded with iOS7 (latest update) but movie rentals do not show up in Main Menu "Movies" as they did previously. Once played or stopped when playing they disappear. When you try to rent again the dialogue says it was previously rented, go to Setting, General, Downloads to retrieve. There is no Downloads.

Also can not pause movie rentals but can pause TV Shows and all previews.

Any suggestions?

So here is my situation. Last night I rented and downloaded a movie (Superman - Man of Steel, which I thought was actually pretty good but anyway) on my MBP from iTunes. I wanted to watch the movie to see if it would be appropriate for my children to watch as well as being able to plug in my headphones. The next morning I turn on my Apple TV to que it up for watching and the movie section does not show any rented movies. (I have 13 hours at the time of this post). I open up iTunes and there it is in my rented section. I go to computers on my ATV and there we go. I can watch it from there. I did not have to reset anything or what have you. What I am wondering is if everyone that has been having "issues" with this has also watched it on thier computer then went to watch it on the ATV. While I agree that I should be able to see the rented movies no matter how I watch them on any device - I think that streaming over from iTunes is a lot easier than going through all the resets and the like.

I rented a movie last night (2 hours 20 mins) and it buffered for most of the first 30 mins and then just seized up. Refused to go any further. I got fed up with it in the end and left it to download overnight. Today it's still stuck at the same place. I've rebooted the AppleTV 3 times, rebooted the router, switched off all other wi-fi devices in the house, but it makes no difference. I tried downloading the film from scratch and for the past two hours it's been telling me that the film will be ready in one minute. The AppleTV works perfectly with everything else. I have even tested it by having 4 devices streaming movies and stuff on the internet whilst listening to music streaming from my Macbook Pro. No problem. I can even watch the previews for other films without any buffering. It just won't properly download or stream films that I've rented. They've taken my money but I can't watch the film. It's really frustrating. A couple of weeks ago I rented a film and watched it without buffering. Why won't it do it this time? Grrrrrrrrrrr!!
