IOS 7 won't play YouTube videos?

I have the same issue with IOS7 and embedded YouTube videos. I have done resets and restore. I have cleared the cookies in Safari in settings. NOTHING has corrected this. I use a Time Machine and have a plenty fast Brighthouse Road Runner internet connection. These videos worked perfectly with my Ipad Mini with IOS6. My Iphone 4 has also lost it's ability to audibly notify me when I receive an email. It also freezes up trying to send texts. Yesterday it took 6 hours to get a voicemail. I have also done reset and restore on it. On the mini if I am reading a thread on The Gear Page (the worlds largest musician website) and it has an embedded video if I hit the "quote" button and then go backwards for some odd reason the embedded video then shows up as it ALWAYS used to with IOS6 WITHOUT hitting the "quote" button.

I have spent countless hours with Apple's senior techs only to be told "we have discovered that IOS7 isn't being very frindly to Iphone 4 users" and they "never heard of the embedded YouTube issues".DON'T THEY READ THEIR OWN SITE HERE!!! Perhaps they need to correct these WELL REPORTED issues rather than send me merchandising propaganda for the new Ipad Air and retina Ipad mini. Hopefully the lesson learned by Apple here would be to ALWAYS offer the old operating system to any client that has a registered Apple porduct in their database. My phone is ruined because of IOS7.

Many thanks for your help. I did as you suggested and am back watching YouTube. Please note that one needs to hard restart your device after doing the suggested steps, before getting the results you are seeking. That means pushing and holding the on/off button, until it is restarted.

Since we are on the subject why wont vube.com load either.

I had you all your guys suggested, it works for a while, it never works for a long time.

my ipad had worked well before I updated it to iso7. it takes me a lot of time to fix the problem, I have tried many times, and and even go to store for help several times, it does not work for me!!!

I Just uninstalled youtube and reinstalled it... Worked for me..

iPad or other iOS devices are compatible with videos in MP4 or MOV. Downloaded videos from YouTube are not supported by iDevices. If you want to play the flv videos on iPad, you need to convert flv to mp4 or convert flv to mov.
