my ipad is disabled, how do i enable it with a new password?

easier:

1) open itunes

2) connect your ipad

3) start a backup in Itunes for your Ipad

Ipad is now unlock

going to try this now, pray it works.

Oh... niskraa- I did the sync and the cancel like Texas Mac Man said. No other prompts came up. I unplugged, pushed the home button and life was back to normal. Yaaaay Texas Mac Man!!

my iPad has the same problem right now, but it doesn't have the countdown and i tried to connect the iTunes so many times but the iPad device doesn't show up in the iTunes.

Tom are you sure I won't lose my photos ?

I am desperate not to lose years of photos.

iTunes kinda stupid.....if they cannot reply to this then i'm going to samsung...

what about for mini ipad and i didnt understand how you did it niskraa

were you able to re-enable it without losing pics? i am having the same problem. it is disabled and not recognized in iTunes to do the whole restore cancel, etc

What is the work around when it tells me to "go to icloud settings on your iPad and turn off Find My iPad before restoring your iPad"? I am locked out of my iPad and can not turn off find my iPad.
