iTunes 11.1 freezing constantly.

Here's what fixed the problem for me:

1) completely deleted (including unsubscribing) every podcast on iTunes (took a screenshot first to remember what I had)

2) closed iTunes and rebooted

3) subscribed from scratch again to all podcasts

No problems since then.

I've had this problem for years across many updates. iTunes still freezes randomly on start-up (on Windows 7).

Is Apple doing anything about it?

So here I am, working on the same problems You guys are having, Itunes freezes. My problems is with my Iphone 5S syncing. It locks up Itunes. I have tried to reinstall in compliance with Aplles direction (which is not an uninstall, only a remove), so I tried a lengthy recipe found on the net, which actually permitted me to uninstall. Installed a fresh copy from Apples website. The problem has not gone away.

I have two Iphone 5 in the house along with 3 ipads, an Imac and an Apple Tv. Itunes binds it all together.

SO Apple. as a paying customer. I DEMAND THAT THIS IS FIXED WITH OUT FURTHER DELAY.

I Expect to hear from you in this matter urgently, containing a status when the matter is solved.

Hah, well in your original comment you mentioned the "Jony Ive user experience" which I thought was pretty funny. I am convinced that Apple executives do not use their own products. I think they approve the feature list and the look of the products and that's it. If they actually used the programs they would be much much better.
