iTunes 11 not recognizing my iPhone 4S?

I'm using Windows 8 and just updated to iTunes 11. When it didn't recognize my phone, I tried updating to iOS 7, restarting the phone, restarting the computer...NOTHING has worked.

This isn't like the people getting crashes--iTunes doesn't even know that the phone is connected at all, even though the computer recognizes it as a connected device. I can view the pictures on my phone via "My Computer," but iTunes > File > Devices is completely grayed-out as if there were nothing connected at all.

How do I fix this? I just made a new playlist using my computer and want to put it on my phone as well.

Hy there,

In order for you to solve this problem without uninstaling everithing you have to follow these stept if your running windows:

1'st step is to go into the device manager

2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)

3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers

4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers

After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.
