iOS7 BUG? ALL MY NOTES disappeared. WHY?

Omg I just checked my notes and the ones that were missing from my iPad (and in my yahoo backup) are back!! I don't know how it happened but I'm so thankful! I just emailed copies to myself in case this problem happens again. Whew! lol

Turned the notes off in my mail settings and on iCloud. Lost the two "test" notes in my notes. Turned them back in in the respective places and still lost. Definitely isn't a solution. Called Tech Support yesterday after reading and attempting all the remedies in this thread. None of them worked. Tech Support made several similar suggestions and then the guy said, "Well, it's just a glitch in notes." Very helpful (said facetiously). I can't imagine why Apple hasn't fixed this when it's been going on for over a year according to the dates on the comments here.

I also had a problem with notes that many of you have discussed. Copying and re-typing the notes seemed to me to be almost too much to do becuase of all the notes I have. I came across a bit easier solution. I grabbed an app called PhoneView which enables you to see Notes on your iPhone. Then with Notes open on the desktop/laptop I can drag one note at a time into the Notes on the desktop/laptop in the account you want to copy them to. This retains all naming info for the new note. Just click New Note then drag the not from PhoneView. This not has been copied-duplicated.

The point still is: I want my notes to stay on my iPhone, I don't need them hidden in Yahoo or on my iMac.

Since iOS7 my notes disappear from the iPhone often. This is what needs fixing, or I put my grocery list on a piece of paper, which is less likely to hide in Yahoo mail.

Ok so same issue but mine is synced to an AOL account... called AOL support and they said that its linked to the device it self and they dont have it stored within AOL. Doe anyone have any ideas on how I can get my notes back? I am really up a river here.

AOL support isn't likely to be much help - they don'y know if they have your notes or not! When you log in to the AOL web email, do you see a folder called "Notes"? I most cases I've seen, the notes go into an email folder, not your regular inbox.

Did not work. Any other suggestions?

Sorry people, but i cant seem to find a way to retrieve my missing notes. i dont have yahoo acount. i am thinking there must be a mix up with my 3 kids ipad mini's. i am about to have anxiety attack. even tried software restoration to no avail.

i need a step by step resolution as its too much for me now

I have been monitoring this blog from the beginning and waiting for a answer for us who have lost all our notes. Some have been lucky to find them in a email account. You would think someone from Apple Support would have addressed this. For that matter. Why has nobody been to a Apport Support Center and posted a answer here which leads me to think that there is no Answer. Aliens.

As I said a few times on this thread, the notes in iOS7 are the problem, and until Apple fixes it I will use a pen and paper to keep my notes!

Like I said, use a pen and paper for your notes; Apple needs to fix iOS7 notes so they stay on the iPhone.

Totally agree iOS 7 is the biggest crap Apple have brought out - ever. Wish I had never 'upgraded' to this ****.

Hello! I see that has been useful for others. I have a yahoo account, as well but no "notes" folder. What is more interesting, not all my notes have disappeared, only some of them. Right now, I just wrote 4 and the first 2 are gone! Any suggestions? Would really appreciate it!

I do not have a yahoo account and currently running iOS 7.1

Most of my notes vanished again (this is not the first time) and they are nowhere to be found. Went online to iCloud and nothing there either. It is clearly an Apple problem, and not a new one.

Any new ideas?
