I agree. In this case it was quite obvious the weather app was set in Fahrenheit and not in Celsius as 18°C ~ 64F (technically Fahrenheit doesn't use the degree (°) symbol even though Apple's app does 😏)

However the initial comment still applies, this app occasionally "gets stuck" somehow and will show incorrect temperature for whatever reason?

Yes, I've tried that too.

Right now weather.com is showing 35F (~2°C).

Yet myy iphone 5S is still stuck on 32F (0°C), and it has been showing the same temperature for weeks now.

I really hope someone will come up with a real solution and put the temperature tests to rest. If you see my initial post there's no doubt something isn't working, not sure if it's the iphone itself or Yahoo's app but there is no place on earth that has had a constant, never changing temperature for weeks at a time. Yet that's exactly what my iphone implies, a never changing temperature of 32F or 0°C.

I restored my iphone about 3 weeks ago just like you described. Haven't restored it as a new iphone because it's such an incredible pain. I've done it before and even with me using icloud etc it's a major inconvenience. I have numerous guitar lesson videos on my phone and also guitar lesson tracks on an app called AnyTune and every time I've done a restore, I had to recreate my tracks which is super inconvenient and time consuming (the app creates specific practice loops where perfect timing is of essence).

I've browsed the forums and there seems to be a plethora of iphone users with the same problem and the majority of the posts started with the iOS 7 so I'm hoping there will be some kind of fix for this issue. My iphone works great otherwise so I don't see why I should have to use my apple care warranty to get a new one?

Some other things I'd tried:

- I deleted all the cities I had for my weather app and then reselected them again (I travel for a living so I have always had many cities within the app).

- I've turned the weather app Location services ON. I've also turned them OFF, no difference.

What's interesting is that all the other cities show the correct temp EXCEPT my hometown? Case in point, I'm writing from Hong Kong and app is showing a temperature of 70F (21°C). Weather.com shows the exact same temp of 70F.

A sample of other cities selected on the app (and they all show the correct temp according to weather.com:

New York -> 25F (-4°C)

Bangkok, Thailand -> 75F (24°C)

Dubai, UAE -> 61F (16°C)

Frankfurt, Germany -> 37F (3°C)

Those and other cities on my app are ALL correct. My hometown Nashville, Tn has been stuck on 32F or 0°C for weeks and weeks. Surely this cannot be a defect phone when all cities are correct except one??
