AirPlay with AirServer connectivity problem

Same problem here, AirPlay drops out after a few secondes, using an iPad mini iOS7 and AirServer on mac.

And, of course, it happens at the worst time for me, when I need to make a selling video for my app, for a feature that does not run with the iPad simulator.

Updated to iOS 7.0.3 and the problem is still there. We have a large ammount of instructors using ATVs as well as Air Server. The mirroing will not work on either the ATV or air serve after just one time mirroring then disconnecting. PLEASE FIX THIS GUYS !

Nope, it is Apple all the way. The problem persists with Apple TV as well.

Experiencing it as well. I'm using airserver and Webex for TCs / Web cons. Apple, please fix.

This is an iOS 7 AirPlay mirroring bug.

Exact same results when using an Apple TV instead of AirServer.

The iPad automatically drops its mirroring session 45 seconds after it auto-locks.

3-4 mirroring sessions is all it takes for the iPad mirroring to freeze up.

After this happens, mirroring to an Apple TV only projects a blank screen.

Once the mirroring is hung, the only way to fix it is to restart the iPad.

Apple please release an update to fix this!

Restarting the iPad should enable you to mirror a few times.

If using AirServer for Mac instead of the Apple TV, remember to use the latest version of AirServer for Mac - 4.8

I use AirServer 4.8 (4.8) but I can't mirror at all.... (10.8.5 with iOS 7.0.3) ;(

I teach an undegraduate math methods course.

I have found using my iPAD an essential teaching tool; I get to share what I draw and write and so can my students. But this is extremely tedious and inconvenient. In the middle of a lesson I had to abandon using my iPAD. This is extremely disappointing since discovering AirServer and taking advantage mirroring my iPAD (and iPHONE) to teach my class.

Please assist us who depend on this technology as an educational tool!

This is an unbelievably frustrating bug. I connect my iPad to a classroom Mac mini via Airplay, the iPad slows to a crawl, and the screen is not mirrored. The device becomes completely unresponsive. I ended up wiping the device twice last time, but how many times am I going to have to do that?

I use AirServer with the Zamurai Mobile Whiteboarding app at least once a day, and since upgrading to iOS 7 on my iPad, I am seeing this issue a LOT! Before finding this post I had learned that whenever the error happens I have to power cycle my iPad to clear the condition and that is VERY frustrating and time consuming especially if I am hosting a meeting and trying to demonstrate something.

I hope this issue gets resolved soon because it is impacting our business.

iOS 7 + iPad mirroring issue

A critical bug in iOS 7 causes the mirroring component in iPad 3 and iPad 4 to freeze after 3-4 mirroring sessions. This happens when mirroring to AirServer or an Apple TV. Restarting the iPad is the only way to temporarily fix this issue.

To make matters worse, iOS 7 automatically drops the mirroring connection, 45 seconds after the iPad auto-locks, forcing the user to re-establish AirPlay mirroring multiple times during a presentation, and eventually freezing up the mirroring component.

Please report this issue directly to Apple, who will hopefully release a fix soon:
