AirPlay with AirServer connectivity problem

Updated to IOS 7 and now I am having mirroring issues with AirServer. I have been using AirServer for approximately 6 weeks teaching in a 7th grade Math classroom. I connect and disconnect multiple times per class period and never had a problem until I updated my iPad to IOS 7 last week. Now, after 3 or 4 connect/disconnects, the next time I attempt to connect, it will not mirror the iPad. I have to hard reset the iPad to get it to work again. The iPad appears to be connected but everything on the iPad slows down considerably and AirPlay does not start on the computer. I reproduced the same exact problem on an iPad Mini that also has been updated to IOS 7. Also, I have the latest version of AirServer on the computer. I had absolutely no connectivity problems prior to upgrading to IOS 7. Thanks for any help you can provide.

To all the "me too" posters - your posts here do not help. I realized Airserver was directing people here to "report" the problem but this is not the place to do so since this is a peer supported community. Airserver is now directing people to the appropriate place to directly report the problem to Apple.

This is crazy. After finally getting everyone updated to 7.0.3 to fix all of the supervision problems we now have this. I have teachers and students presenting to the board tonight and thought we were good to go. Installed an Apple TV on Friday as a backup to Airserver as I wanted all to go well tonight. Tested with my iPad 2 with iOS 7.0.3 and all went well. Teachers came for a dry run this afternoon with their iPad 4s and iOS 7.0.3 and seen all of the issues posted here, won't connect, blank screen, iPad not responsive. On both Airserver and Apple TV. We have not committed to iPads for our one to one and this is not going to look good. I cannot believe that this has been an issue since 7.0 and is not fixed yet. Yes, restarting the iPads gets them working for a little while.

I am still having this problem, and I've noticed that it also happens when you connect to a VGA projector or external monitor using the lightning-to-VGA adaptor. I've documented my problems here:

Please spread the word and hopefully Apple will fix this problem soon. I realize, of course, that Apple doesn't read these forums. I've submitted my issue through their official bug report system.

Maybe this will help folks...

I had some problems with dropouts between my iPad Air and my Apple TV. After playing around with settings I was able to "fix" the issue. Well.... with "but".... You see, when mirroring the device I got a drop out with my Apple TV so sliding your main preferences on the iPad up and choose your destination there didn't worked for me....

What did work for me howevr was syncing my Plex on my iPad Air with Apple TV without any dropouts.

So

1. don't use mirroring from the main preferences when sliding this menu up from bottum to halfway the iPad screen. Make sure the mirroring on your iPad source is set to display everything on your iPad.

2. now when you like to present a youtube movie or something from plex on your iPad tv then sync it using the connect button within those programs themselves. So don't use the main syncing option but those within the program's themselves.

This might not solve the issue itself, that's for Apple to fix, but it did helped me out watching anything I wanted using my iPad Air with my Apple TV. For those using these hardware this might help, it helped me anyway ^^

Cheers (sorry for my crappy Englih, I'm Dutch and not that familliar with English ^^
