charging iphone since ios7

Has anyone experienced problems charging their phone since the ios7 software upgrade?

Even the cable my iphone came with does not charge it - luckily I bought a spare cable off ebay - one that is not apple genuine and this is the only one that works! Well it charges it but doesn't work 100% as it gets to 100% charged but never says battery full - just wants to keep charging it. I have 3 genuine iphone 5 cables that won't charge my phone now and only this one cable will charge it 😟 Anyone have any suggestions??

Also when you select an image for wallpaper - it comes up enlarged - it says to 'move and scale' but you can only make the image bigger you can't decrease it so you can actually see it all on the screen - you only get a portion of the picture now - anyone else finding this?

Other than this I think ios7 is really good 😉

My phone started doing this yesterday. I've tried 3rd party and OEM cables/chargers and none work. I keep getting an error message saying this cable is not supported and may not work... When they've worked fine and dandy in the past. Now my phone is dead as a door nail and only good for a paper weight. Hmm that Samsung Galaxy Note is looking pretty good right now.... CAN'T CALL 911 IF I HAD TOO!! FIX THIS APPLE!!!

How is it that there can be so many posts regarding this issue even when using official Apple cables, and yet Apple does not respond nor address the issue? This has now been ongoing for over a year and appears that the effected continues to grow.

I have posted on several forums both on Apple's site as well as other sites with the same results, more of us being impacted and NO response from Apple. Do they really think that the consumer is going to just sit around and take this because they are Apple? I have been an Apple diehard loyal customer for well over 20 years, but I can tell you the new Samsung is an awesome phone with so many more features than the IPhone.

Three of my family members are now proud owners of these new devices because of This issue and Apple's lack of concern for their customers. I also know of at least an additional 10 of my kids friends who have left Apple because of this issue and my kids convincing them to try the Samsung.

Apple wake up and take care of your customer. You are not the only smart phone on the market any longer. We miss you Steve. You would not have allowed this type of customer NON- service to continue

Understood that this is user to user forum, just making a statement that Apple needs to step up acknowledge and address this issue. Even in the multiple times I have gone into an Apple facility regarding this issue, the problem is always diagnosed as something different and NEVER an issue related to IOS 7 plus or hardware.

I would suggest everyone affected raises this with Apple. ( http://www.apple.com/feedback) Here is my submission :-

Please can you explain to me why Apple has suddenly decided to prevent existing cables that were previously working perfectly from now charging my iPhone 5?

This is not a fault of the phone but is a deliberate sabotage by Apple via the latest IOS 7 updates.

I would also like to know how Apple will be compensating me for the 4 cables I own that no longer work. Including the charger built into my car which means I cannot use the navigation function of the iPhone any longer.

Regards Paul.
