iOS 7 Bluetooth won't pair with Bose

I had huge problems trying to re pair my Bose Soundlink Mini to my iPhone 5S. Tried all the suggestions and they didn't work. For some reason I couldn't unpair it from my my bluetooth settings or reset the connection. Everytime I tried to "forget this connection" it just kept remembering it. In the end the only thing that worked was resetting the network settings on my iPhone completely.

I went back into the bluetooth settings and my connections were still there but this time iOS7 allowed me to delete them completely and I readded them back and connected successfully.

Not too much of a big deal except you have to enter all WiFi passwords again for any routers that you are using.

Hope this helps someone as it had my head melted for over a week.

I have the Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile speaker II and also had trouble pairing to my new iPhone 5S. Took the speaker to the Bose store. He pressed the "Bluetooth" button on top of the speaker for 10 seconds until we heard a small sound coming from the speaker. Powered off the speaker. Re-powered the Bose. My iPhone 5S Bluetooth was then able to discover the Bose speaker. Easily paired after that.

(The online Bose speaker manual said to hold the "mute" button down for 10 seconds to reset and re-pair but that did not work)

Thanks, holding down the MUTE button (causing BT and AUX to flash, then powering off), also fixed pairing issue on the Bose Soundlink Mini 🙂

I had to hit the mute bottom and dis connect from my I phone.

When I reconnected it work the first time.

OMG- thank you! Just tried this and it worked

After pressing/holding every button suggestion for a YEAR, I FINALLY connected!! Just turned blue tooth off, then back on (reboot?) and VOILA!
