error iTunes Store : 0x80090318 (the solution)
iTunes 11.1.0.126-OTHER, Windows 7, upgrad iTunes 11.1.0.126 Windows 7
Hi Graveth,
I had the same problem as Mark (C:\Users\Mark), and after tried your suggestion of "CD\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32" and then you type netsh winsock reset, it still doesnt work....could you please give the full command? I'm not a professional, so a step by step clear instruction would be really helpful~ 😊
thanks a lot!
Hey OWLUL,
I had the same error. I fixed it as follows:
1. Go to windows explorer with start+e.
2. Click on your C-disk.
3. In the search bar, type: netsh.
4. In the search result, manually look for the C:\Windows\system32\netsh.exe
5. Double click netsh.exe
6. In the MSDOS bar it says: C\:Windows\system32\netsh>
7. Type: winsock reset
8. Press enter
9. Reboot your computer
10. It should work now:)
Good luck!
Regards, Vincent
Ive tried this solution multiple time to no avail. However, the last time i tried it i noticed that when the command prompt comes up it doesnt say C:\Windows\system32, it says C:\Users\Mark and im wondering if this is my problem, any help is appriciated~!
Under command prompt , like Mark, it is showing my name. When I right click there is no list to choose from for "run as administrator". When I goto C: I am unable to find netsh.exe....only can fund netsh. When I enter winsock reset the same message appears....need to run as administrator. Help!
I have same situation as Nekozn... did everything from here but still can't solve the problem...
can you please help me out 😟 i'm figuring out this for couple of hours already... 😟 thanks!!

I was getting the message that I had to run the rest as an administrator so I just did the following
From the Start Menu > type cmd
When you see the Command Prompt in the shortlist, right click and select 'Run As Administrator'
The command box will open up at the
C:\Windows\System30>
Then typed the reset information you provided.
Again, thanks!

hi everybody me too i have the same problem i used the solution given above with CMD commande but sadely it doesn't work , it gave me that ''ACCES REFUSE" wich means that it cannot solve the problem so how i can if can somebody help me please .
Worked great for me! It wasn't quite as easy to find. This was an older Windows xp computer. I clicked start, run, then typed cmd. That gave me the screen you see above in the original post. Mine looked somewhat different and had my name, but I just typed netsh winsock reset and it worked!
There was some connectivity issue. My internet Explorer was working, but certain links wouldn't connect. This fixed my problem. I am currently running an Ituned update, whereas before I kept getting the error message.
Hello,
I have just done a fresh installation of Windows 7 (64bit) and have done all updates. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes and when it goes to connect to the iTunes Store, I get 0x80090318.
I have tried the command, but still no joy.
Any ideas?
its working
but i have question that
i have internet download manager crack version too.
so when i run that command its successfully working but IDM's Browser Integration also resets
so how to reset it without IDM Browser Integration
Simple, but it works.
