How come the require passcode on my 5s iPhone only has the option of IMMEDIATELY. It will not let me change it to anything else. On my old phone, I could set the passcode to be good for 5 minutes or longer?
Am I missing something here?
Completley agree that we should have the option to decide if we want it to be immediate or not, and feedback sent.
Thanks, but I think we can all do that. The problem is the separate "Require Passcode" setting, which only allows the "Immediately" option if you are using Touch ID for unlocking.
This happens on iPad too, so not fingerprint thing. Probably your exchange server settings.
Fine, but I don't have a corporate Exchange account and never have had.
THat's true, but the fingerprint recognition very often does not work first time for me and so it becomes a burden. Maybe I have atypical (non Apple standard) fingerprints? 😉
And, ironically, Chris' post at the top of this page makes the same recommendation.
