anyone else notice stuttering animation on the iphone 5S

I went from the iphone 5 on ios 7 to the 5S and the animations on the 5S stutter about 50% of the time. specifically opening and closing folders and opening and closing apps.

ios7 on my iphone 5 runs buttery smooth. I thought the 5S is supposed to run better not worse.

anyone else having this issue and any suggestions? I believe that the software version for the 5S is not quite optimized at it should.

ios7 on the 5 went through 6 betas with thousands of developers running the betas reporting bugs. No one had the 5S so maybe its version of ios 7 is not quite finished.

any thoughts would be appreciated

On my 5s's. I have three in the family 7.1 has resolved the stuttering animation issue that i experienced. I can't speak for other devices.

As I write here before my animation issue was completely solved in iOS 7.1 beta 4. BUT anitomation issue returned in iOS 7.1 beta and it is still also in 7.1.1 final release. It is akresdy

Oh okay! I know it's not a hardware issue cause my iPod has been replaced twice. And I think it doesn't happen to everybody since my friend doesn't experience that (I think). Oh well, maybe it will be resolved in a future update. Thanks :)

Ok thanks! I really hope it's going to be resolved soon cause it's really starting to get on my nerves! I submitted the bug to Apple Developer Bugreporter thing.

yes. I find ios 8 beta 5 does suffer from the occasional stutter and lag. Being a beta release I am not so concerned. Hopefully final release will be as smooth as 7.1.2.

I Plan to get the iPhone 6 at that time so my 5s will be passed down to a waiting family memeber.

The bug was not resolved for me in iOS 7.1.2 neither. That ****** me off so much!
