Where did my screen shots go?

Yes, same for me. It appears dropbox has taken all screenshots hostage 🙂.

for others with this issue

click desktop -> press command+shift+G and paste the following: ~/Dropbox/Screenshots

Literally one step...went to Finder and they were all listed there.

I tried one of these and now I have an annoying jpg image on my desktop titled "Macintosh HD" and I can't delete it

Check Finder/Preferences/General to make sure Hard Disks isn't checked.

Dropbox saves screenshots in a folder called"screenshots" , this is the only way I have been able to easily see them.

I had the same issue. What I did was search for the words Screen shot on the spotlight search. My screen showed up as if it was on my desktop. Once I clicked on it it appeared on my desktop. Weird.

I had this same issue and I found my screenshot in the "All my files" tab that is found in the Finder window to the left. Hope that Helps!

I tried all the suggested method. Failed ;(

But I found a simple method. by pressing "command + shift + 3" I don't know about you guys but it works on my Mac. Give it a try! 🙂
