iPhone 5S home button seems loose.

Yeah I have a same problem with my 5S. I got it on July 27 and the home button seems loose. I don't hear the double click noise but when I put my finger to either use Touch ID or click, the glass covering the button is going to get removed. It's like moving around when phone is being shake. It's not sturdy enough. My dad got a gold 5S and his home button is nice and secure. But I think the color isn't really matter here sense this is a hardware problem. anyway I chat with Apple support last night and there saying that it's a hardware issue. They set the appointment to my nearest Apple Store. I don't know, I think this is just a production issue for some iPhone 5S model. It was like this right out of the box but I didn't notice until I compare with my dad's 5S. I will have to see what Apple store will have to do about it but I advise you to take it and have them check. That's what adviser said when I chat.

They'll give you a refurbished replacement iPhone, if you ask them to transfer the sim for you, they'll do it but you could easily do it your self, just pop the tray open on left side of the phone with the sim ejector tool which came with the iPhone's manual and pop your sim on the tray, it needs to be of nano-sim size to fit, if you sim doesn't fit, you'll need to purchase the right size or you could watch a tutorial on YouTube on how to cut the sim to nano-sim size.

i would suggest you not to mess with the button to much because i just got my iphone 5s and it doesnt make the loosey feeling it might just be that you probably have dropped or might be a manufacturing defect so i suggest you take it to the apple store

I got my iphone 5s about 3 weeks ago and the home button started to do the same thing. That annoying double click. It is fully functional,but i cant stand that feel. It seems like it is broken. Have you got yours replaced from an apple store? Does the warranty cover it?

Half way pressing the button will produce a clicking sound that's just ugly when combined with the "real" click sound of the button fully pressed.

Same here. Button has 2 click. If I use it a lot the first click goes away, but if I leave the phone alone for 10-15 min it returnes. Seems like the glu or something doesn't hold well.

I really think this issue should be brought to Apple's attention. Otherwise I guess we are stuck with it

When I shake the phone near my ear, I can hear a slight rattle... my guess is this is some part of the TouchID home button. Has anyone else noticed this?
