iPhone 5S home button seems loose.

The home button on my iPhone has a strange feel to it after about of week of use. When I press it, there is a slight click before the actual button press. It's really noticable when I double-click it for multi-task. Also, the touch-id won't work when the button is loose. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Here's the deal with mine. The ring aroung the home button separates from the front panel when pressed causing an additional clicking noise. If I press just the bottom half of the ring with my fingernail it creates a gap between the ring and the screen. It's only on the bottom half of the ring though. The top half stays where it should. I seriously doubt it should do this. I'll make an appointment with a genius on Friday to see what they say.

I've been using my 5s for about a month without any problems. since two days I'm having exactly this same issue with the home button and it really annoys me because I used to know how it was before (and definitly how it should be). Also when I shake my 5s I can clearly hear a rattle noise from the homebutton and the noise is not coming from a loose powerbutton because I hold a finger on the powerbutton while shaking it. For that price I'm really disappointed with this issue. It might not affect the use of the phone but it's really annoying and just feels like a bad quality homebutton now. Touch ID function still works for me. I expect good quality for this price and especially from Apple products, so that sounds definitly like something's broken inside the home button to me. Support has been contacted on this issue, I'm hopeful to get it fixed from apple.

My 5S's lock button was rattling straight out of the box, in addition then the screen began to come loose and 'click' all down the right hand side of the screen, very very annoying! At the same time the lock button began to 'ghost click', where it would press itself, even when it would just be sitting on my bedside locker!

It's been away for a week or so now with Applecare (as there are no Apple stores in the Republic of Ireland)...

To add insult, they do not even appear to have fixed the thing... I've checked the status of the repair and they have "not been able to duplicate the issue"...

To say I am beginning to lose my faith with Apple is an understatement...
