problem in lock screen in ios 7.0.2

I updated (iphone5) to ios 7.0.2, my phone has been freezing sporadically at the lock screen. I am unable to slide to unlock

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Nothing more than a "we will look into it from here". Had to end chat with them quickly as I had to leave for office. They said I can continue with the existing transcipt to get more support from them. Its a holiday today and need to reinstate the conversation once again. Gave them a reference of this forum thread too. Helping them in fixing this in an upcoming update can help us to save our time in future, I hope!

Bhavani,

Its sad. After the support chat, I did this.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings : This will cause a reboot; not a problem for us as we need to reboot @ every freeze!

Now waiting for the next freeze. It has been 5 hours since I did the above NW reset. If it happens again, I need to hard reset. If it happens again, I need to contact them again.

Can you also do these with me? Please update if it is freezing for you. I hope we have the very same problem. I hope its not freezing for "all" the notifications you receive. If so yours could be a different problem.

Usually every new OS version when released comes with lots of stability issues. I had faced this in many cases - Microsoft Windows 7, Ubuntu Linux versions.. and so on.

But in my mind Apple had a different position than that of MS and Linux distros; equal or even more that of Google (Android). But now I feel Google seems much better in delivering a near-perfect initial release, considering the the number of different hardwares their mobile OS comes deployed on.

I strongly believe the iOS version 7 will become a stable one soon, ofcourse after a few 7.0.x or 7.x releases. Anyway I never commit a mistake of moving to another major version (8?) until it become stable with a few minor versions / patches. Its my first 2 months on an 'i' device. 🙂
