Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Ive already tried the trouble shooting that was already submitted. I turned off Dolby and audio out. Still not working. The sound was working fine until I updated it.
I updated it because I was having trouble with my home sharing because I had the new version of iTunes on my PC and old version of Appletv I assumed.
But now I have no sound not even the sound of the curser moving

I just strted having the same problem this evening. Very frustrated! I tried all the basic stuff like checking cables, hard resetting devices, I even reset my modem & Airport. Tried all the stuff on the http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5150 link too.
I have a 2nd generation Apple TV, did the factory restore, did the lstest firmware update. My audio settings are at Dolby "OFF", 16-bit and the resolution is 720p 50khz.
I still have no sound coming out of my Apple TV.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just updated my Appletv and no sound. Tried these troubleshooting and not working.
