Getting PDF into iBooks from Mail with IOS 7?

OK, on my iPad 3......pre IOS 7, someone coud emal me a PDF and I would click it in Mail and it would give me the "OPTION" to view or open in iBooks. Because I wanted it in iBooks, I would click that and all was good.

NOW with IOS 7.....I get this "Preview" of the PDF.....when I click it, I get "Save Image" or "Copy".

If I click Save Image, it puts something in my Camera Roll that I cannot even see? If I hit Copy, I guess it's on the Clipboard...but I still cannot get it into iBooks.

HOW DO I GET A PDF that was emailed to me from Mail to iBooks using IOS 7????

I'm not sure if I'm getting this into the right place, but if you simply HOLD YOUR FINGER DOWN (not tap-but HOLD) you will get a preview which will let you open in ibooks or other apps

It worked for me! My PC and iPod have different accounts so they won't share. But I emailed the file (pdf) and it works. the icon arrow at the top right of the screen doesn't go react immediately. Happy happy, joy, joy.

i am on IOS7.1.1 and I cannot hold down an attachment and see Open with ibooks as an option.

the arrow up in the attachment does NOT include ibooks as an option. I store documents in ibooks for meetings in case there is no wireless available...HELP!!!

You could try a reset ie hold the home and power buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

Are you able to open attachments in other apps or is it just iBooks option missing?

Try Settings > General > Reset All Setttings.

You didn't answer my question about whether you have the option to open the attachment in other apps?

Are you sure you still have the iBook app on your device?

First you must have an iBooks app, then open your PDF attachment in safari, "Open in iBooks" will just automatically appear

I Have IOS 8 on my iPad and you still cant attach a doc when you are in the email program. *** gives Apple? There is probably an app for this but why not facilitate something so simple. Easy to do in android.
