Temporary fix -
Turn off iphone
As iphone is powering down and the spinning logo is ok screen, plug in cable
Iphome will charge.
Not ideal but it works. Block is software based.
To get around it buy a cable that is MFI certified or has 'made for iphone' on the box
Apple went against micro usb EU standards and generate so much ewaste it's not funny
They say it's becuase of 'safety' but we all know its so vendors who pay licences for exclusive rights to the 'lightning adapter' are complaining becuase they are making no money from their 'official' cables
But hey, apples always been like this. They have a monopoly on all their accessories and demand a cut. Introducing a software based block is pretty illegal but until someone takes them to court over it you won't see any changes
This is going beyong ridiculous at this point. Mophie totally ignored my e-mail after we were going back and forth and then when I called them out they just stopped replying to me. Apple seems to be the most at fault here don't you think?
Had the same problem and reset all settings seemed to fix the issue for me. It now works on my phone and my wifes IPhone 5 as well.
Ok i had this problem to and i youtubed it and i came across a guy with the same problem and he said that once you flip the switch to charge, push down on top of phone and bottom of phone at same time and it starts charging. I tried and it worked for me. Hope this helps!
This was fixed once Maxboost sent me a replacement. Odd coincidence that it started acting up post IOS7 but the replacement has been working fine. Maxboost was great to deal with and replaced it under warranty.
This is definately a APPLE issue, I have been going back and forth with Mophie and they have sent me 4 brand new cases for my 4S and not one of them would charge my phone and all these problems started right after i upgraded tp IOS7, so without a doubt a apple problem and have no clue why they will not admit that and address the issue, and Mophie offers not help now that all these cases are useless, they wont even let me upgrade the case to a 5S case, just get a big runaround from both companies....very frustrating makes a person seriously think about taking buisness elsewhere
which settings exactly did you fix?? nothing seems to work on my 4s
Here's my 2 cents. I have a Mophie and it will NOT charge neither my iPhone 5S, my wife's iPhone 5S nor my iPad Air (both obviously running iOS 7) using Apple cords out of the box. The same Mophie however WILL charge my Galaxy Note 3 and my Nexus 7. My HTC power pack WILL charge my iPhone 5S and my iPad Air.
This is definitely a software issue on Apple's part. I can dig the whole blocking crappy chargers that harm devices and increase warrenty exchanges but don't block the good ones that are Apple Certified. Apple, please stop denying this known issue and fix ASAP.
I'm happy to report that my mophie for my 4S is charging again. I'm not sure what update addressed it as I updated right before 7.1 to the security update and then to 7.1 but all is working as it should now, finally.

Not that it is okay or sustainable, but if your Mofie Juicepack stopped working, get another Mofie JP and connect your iPhone. It will take it and then start working again with your Mophie JP. This makes it clear that it is and Apple/iPhone issue. Apple should work on battery issues and allow users to charge their device any possible way.
I'm on my third Mophie Juice Pack Air case for iPhone 5. I haven't experienced the incompatibility message that others have received, but the guaranteed 100% charge wasn't happening. The first case I brought back to the Apple store where purchased, and they immediately replaced it. The second case, Mophie has now replaced (they were very helpful and responsive). When I removed the old Mophie case, I noticed that the lightning cable connector was scorched--see photo. I can also say that battery often got quite warm while charging the phone with the old #Mophie. I've reported this information to Mophie.
This problem is NOT limited to Mophie cases. I have an iBlason Medley battery case on my iPhone 5c (since Mophie doesn't offer a JuicePack for the 5c) and it recently started exhibiting the same exact behavior. When I activate the charging button on the case, the "This accessory may not be supported" message pops up and the case will not charge the phone. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the charging cable as it happens when the cable isn't even attached.
This has to be Apple related. I've had this case for 3-4 months and it has worked flawlessly up until the past few weeks.
I bought a MOPHIE battery yesterday -- and it worked perfectly. Then I upgraded the Apple software and ka-boom. The battery ran out and refuses to take a charge.
I'll be on my way back to Apple tomorrow to ask why they would sell me a product that doesn't work with the upgraded operating system. So disappointed.
