Honestly, I have just given up on the usage of the Mophie with iOS 7. Obviously it doesn't work. So since I only use my phone while at work, home or school - I bought a new protective case and an Apple genuine lightning power cord and wall adapter. Cost me $55 for the whole bundle, but now I can actually use my phone without worry that I will run out of power, my phone is protected, and I can charge my phone with an Apple cord whenever I want. I'm really irked that Apple isn't supporting Mophie cords - maybe if Apple gets off their butts and makes an Apple branded cord that fits the Mophie, problems would be solved for many of their customers. It's ridiculous that MophieSupport keeps saying its a mophie issue, when even their warranty replacements still don't work for us! ITS. NOT. THE. MOPHIE. CASE. It's APPLE and their horrible iOS 7.

Got my Juice Pack in the mail today. Worthless. Bought on Amazon, not from Apple. But hey, Mophie guy: how about you all stop selling this thing until you can make it work. Reading this forum, I don't want a replacement, because that would just waste my time all over again. I mean come on, you guys are aware of this problem for over a month and you send me a unit that doesn't work. Fail.

So I put the Mophie on my wife's iPhone 5 which she never updated to iOS 7 - and it works fine. Just doesn't work on my iOS 7. Contacted Mophie and told them I wanted a refund not a replacement because judging by this and other forums, the replacement is also unlikely to work. Mophie sent back a robo-email telling me how to get started getting the replacement I told them I didn't want. I would want it if the problem were fixed, but not if they are insisting on acting like there is not a serious problem with their product. If some work and some don't, they need to do some QC before they send out defective Mophies.

I just got off morphie chat support which was useless. They claim they haven't heard of this issue. I have had 4 of these cases in 5 days all doing the same thing. Not fully charging the phone. I talked to a best buy mobile employee that I'm friends with and he said that they heard of this issue and people have been returning the juice pack air. It's almost like no one knows nothing about a issue that's on every tech blog and forum out here. Having to charge the case every time I want to charge my phone defeats the purpose of having the case. I have heard that the helium case isn't having this issue.

Same problem, iPhone 5, IOS 7.0.4, Mophie Juice Pack, sometimes works sometimes not! When Mophie won't charge iPhone separate units, put Mophie on USB cable powered charge and iPhone on Lightening powered charge, leave for approx 15 mins then repair devices - works more often than not.

In the meantime Apple, surely the weight of coincidence points towards an IOS 7.0.x problem?

I just got the 5s last week and ordered a mophie juice pack plus. I had problems charging both the mophie as well as the phone using the micro USB. I tried your suggestions and it looked like it work for a short time. I decided to go back into the mophie packaging to try using the micro USB that came with it (the one I was using and getting errors came with the mophie juice pack plus for the iPhone 4s). What prompted me to try this was the "unsupported charger" messages everytime I would plug in the old mophie usb cable to charge both devices.

Well, much to my surprise, it's working. I am able to rechage the mophie and the 5s together. Phone is not giving me the error message and mophie has all 4 LEDs light solid.

I will keep you posted if anything changes. I was 4th and goal in getting returning the mophie after reading this forum. Like I said, last resort was to use the micro USB cable that came with the mophie. My phone is running 7.0.3 and I have zero desire to try 7.0.4 right now. Yes, the phone and mophie also works on the laptop USB. I do not know if the micro USB cable changed (doubt it) or if the cable is just faulty from wear and tear (mophie 4s cable that is).

Good luck....

I had the same problem after upgrading to IOS 7 so I tried a friend's Mophie (he had IOS 7 and Juicepack Air) and it chargd my phone just fine. So I contacted Mophie and they replaced my Juicepack Air which was still under warranty. The replacement unit did not solve the problem (I believe they sent a refurbished product). I returned the replacement product to Mophie and they replaced that with a brand new Juicepack Air, and everything works fine now. I can charge both the phone and Mophie using the Mophie connector and I can charge the phone from the Mophie.
