Why is my iTunes volume turned all the way down every time I launch the program?

I found a .iTunes Preferences.plist file on my PC and moved it. iTunes recreated the file but the problem persists. No fix here. The volume is still all the way down when launching iTunes on the PC (Windows 7).

I have this problem also. What is the fix?

This worked for me:

• Close iTunes
• Open Finder and navigateto: Users>YourAccountName>Library>Preferences>com.apple.iTunes.plist
• Move that file to the desktop
• Launch iTunes (which will create a new prefs file)
• If the problem is now fixed, move that prefs file from the desktop to the Trash. There might be some personal settings in iTunes you will need to re-do.
