I am using an iPad 2 and iOS 6. At the bottom left of the music tab in iTunes, I see iTunes radio, but when I click on this, nothing happens.

Can someone please suggest a fix?

FWIW, my iPod (IOS-7.04) is experiencing the same problem. I keep getting a message that iTunes Radio is temporarily not available - try back later. (Occasionally, music will play for perhaps ten seconds and then the message appears.) I've been getting that message for several weeks despite the fact that my Mac (on the same WiFi) accesses iTunes Radio with no problems at all. I tried a system reset (several times) to no avail. Then I did a Restore which also did not help.

After the holidays, I'll take a trip to the local Apple Store and talk to the resident Genius.

Same here. Running latest everything. In the last week or so when I open iTunes on either Macbook Pro or iPhone 5 it does not want to play iTunes Pure Pop (one of the preselectred options) When I click on them it tries to fire up the station and then goes blank. But for some reason I can play the other ones. Must just be a glitch with Pure Pop.

I had the same issue and I could not get any help from the "Genius" at apple or could not find any answers from anybody online, I live in California and I could not play any stations from my itunes Radio but could play them on my Imac, Ipad and Apple tv this is how I solved it :

Press down on the Hold button and the Home button at the same time until you see the Apple icon (you might see a connection simulation of icon of the usb plug connection before that) once you see the Apple icon on your screen the device will start, once it restarted I was able to get my itunes radio stations to play back no problem, I hope it works for you!

Hold Button - Locks the iPhone 4's screen. It's also used in restarting and turning off the iPhone. and the

2. Home Button - Used to bring you back to the home screen, in re-arranging apps, making folders, and quitting apps.

Kappy,

C'mon now... it was very nice of you to help, which you did to a very thorough degree both before and after discovering the missed detail.

But the detail in question -- that it was on an iPhone 4s -- was available in that first post, even if it's just the profile info that got tacked on.

We're all friends here, or trying to be. No need for anybody to get bent out of shape about it (her either).

And, to make sure this detail isn't missed, kudos to you just the same -- again -- on the help you did provide.

I'm having trouble with my iTunes radio right now, on my MacBook. So hopefully your suggestion will help.

I Have a problem with mine too. My iPhone 6 doesnt let me use the iTunes Radio. It says that the station is unavailable right now please try again later. It happens every time. I checked my wifi and I am connected and everything? What is wrong this has been happening for about 2-3 months now. My friend has an iPhone 5s and it clearly works fine! She can listen to it, but I can't!
