Hi pricey1989,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I would suggest trying the following:

For any affected apps:

iOS: Force an app to close

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137

If that does not resolve the issue:

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430

Cheers,

- Ari

This is my follow up:

The ONLY solution I found was to roll back to the previous update - 9.21.

*** warning - if you do not have a backup to restore your AP DATA, it will be gone. Backup your AP DATA first.

This was possible due to a post I found where:

1) the 9.21 update was done while connected to your PC

2) press shift and then "restore" in iTunes

3) you are given the option to look for the previous update - which is in your recycle bin

4) select the 9.21 update, and move through the old update warnings

5) once downgraded - realize you have lost all your data. You now need to restore. I went all the way back to backup when I installed 9.21.

6) after hours of updating apps and restoring data - all is good.

*note - I considered "restoring" my Ap data using the 9.3 OS. Perhaps it would have worked fine. I wanted to take no chances though, so I went all the way back. Perhaps it would have saves slit of time.

When will Apple announce some sort of fix schedule? My iPhone and iPad are almost useless except for the most basic functions. None of the fixes posted on the web have worked, and I've spent hours trying to get around this problem. I ordered the new iPad Pro, which is scheduled to be delivered today, but I'm sure the problem will rear its head as soon as I upload my apps. So I'll have two iPads and an iPhone that won't do much of what Apple has promised, and yet they are relatively silent on the issue. Very, very frustrating. I pay a premium for Apple products expecting a higher level of service - not seeing it.
