Safari passwords

Is there any way to see my passwords saved in Safari Prefs? I have tons of user names in there, but for some reason, most are not in my keychain. I tried going to some of the sites, and Safari autofills my usernames and passwords, so I know I didn't hit "never allow." It's really weird, not sure if it's some kind of glitch because I'm on an old Macbook.

I'm trying to switch my username and pw info over to my iPad for safe keeping before this Mac dies so I can access accounts if I need to.

You're going to need a newer Mac.

Open Keychain

On the left column, select LOGIN and below that select PASSWORDS

Double click on any saved website; a dialogue box opens; check the SHOW PASSWORD box at the bottom

Enter your Keychain password, and the password for that website apperars

Go to the last reply by LFP , Nov 6, 2013 - He/She has the right answer that worked for me and Safari 5.1.10.

I could not even edit / delete any names and passwords in Safari under autofill, boxes checked or not.

I have the same problem Safri asks for my password I put Mac sign in password but it doesn't acce[t it?
