Unable to turn on "Limit Ad Tracking" on iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2

Aparently Apple has made it to where if you are under 18 you cannot change it. I don't know why they did this but I tried everything and got lucky to not get it greyed out. Once I slid it over a notification came out saying that this was not able to people that have contracts under the age of 18. I don't know if it's Apple or the phone company but I don't think there is anything we can do about it.

It worked but it is stuck on the loading circle gray thing and free my apps doesn't work

i have also same issue, and have not enabled restriction but still unable to turn off, as i am also user of freemyapps

The exact same thing happened to me, i was using Free My Apps and it told me i couldnt use it until i turned off Limit Add Tracking but i cant turn it off, like you said it is greyed out and idk what the crap Apple is doing

How did it work for you? It isn't for me.

Here's what I did.

-I turned off my wifi

-I turned on airplane mode

-I went to Privacy/Advertising and turned off "Limit Ad Tracking"

-then I went to General/Restrictions/Advertising and turned on "Don't allow changes"

-Then I turned my wifi back on

I was having the same problem on IOS 10, and it turns out that this feature cannot be turned off for accounts with age less than 18.

They are probably in an account that is under 18 they need to sign out of that account

How do I Chang my age?

You are right, literally all you have to do is sign out and limit ad tracking works

Same with me on iOS 10
