My iCal is spontaneously changing colors. It started this evening. My work category is normally green. iCal changed it to purple. I changed it back to green. A few minutes/seconds later it changed it back to purple. I have gone through multiple iterations of this back and forth! Help. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please? Thanks so much!

I spoke with Apple. Apparently they are in the process of upgrading the Calendar feature at this moment. They say that the problems we are facing will be gone within a week, as the upgrade is fully implemented.

My Grandmother also last named Wasserman, also said the same thing. I don't think that could have been the same grandmother, as I don't think I have a relative named Saul.

I got the same problem. My work calendar is pink now and it was green. I try to change it on my phone but it always switch back to pink. I also tried to do it on icloud.com and the same thing hapens. I tried also in ical on my computer itself and it reverts back to the pink color. I also had a problem going into apple store on there website. It always wanted me to download the link which was empty.

Same issue here, as well in Reminders. I'm on iOS7 on my iPhone 5s, iOS6 on my iPad 2, Mountain Lion on my MacBookPro, and icloud.com, and it seems to be affecting the first 2 of my 5 iCloud calendars/1 Shared Calendar. The color has been spontaneously changing, and every time I change it back, the color switches again. Issue began yesterday, 10/10/13, and is driving me crazy! Same thing is happening with my Reminders lists in iOS7 - the color of my lists (specifically my first list) keeps arbitrarily and spontaneously changing. This. Needs. To. Change!!!
Same problem here...FIRST Calendar is changing to BLUE (from RED) and the SECOND Calendar is changing to purple (from Orange).
I will go change it back to the colors I want and before I can add or edit the "iCloud" changes them back to Blue and Purple.
All my devices (computer, iphone, ipad) are set to the RED and ORANGE....but being changed to BLUE and PURPLE.
I am having the same issue with iCalendar. My default calendar has changed from Green to Purple. I've changed it back ... but it switches back within a few minutes. I called Apple this AM, today is Friday, October 11, 2013, and I was told that Apple IS aware of the situation ... at this point there is NO fix.
Could you post the phone number you called. Perhaps if more of us inundated them with calls it would become a priority.
I started a chat support session and mentioned it to the guy. The more people who point this out to Apple in any way, the faster this will get fixed. The squeaky wheel gets the grease is still a trueism.
I am dealing with the exact same issues. I only reply in hopes apple will notice the heavy traffic to this issues of colors. oh colors lol.
