Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My iCal is spontaneously changing colors. It started this evening. My work category is normally green. iCal changed it to purple. I changed it back to green. A few minutes/seconds later it changed it back to purple. I have gone through multiple iterations of this back and forth! Help. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please? Thanks so much!

I'm with acondax. "Workarounds" are for Windows. I don't need to pay the Apple-premium for crummy software--Microsoft has loads of it for far less. I expect better from Apple.
And I think Scott Forestall has an air-tight alibi this time...
Adding my voice to the noise! Also have a problem with my green calendars suddenly becoming purple - it sounds trivial but it's REALLY annoying when you organise by colour. It's also across ALL of my devices - phone, macbook, imac and ipad. Apple, please help!
I am glad that this problem was not only me having it. I hope Apple can fix his because it is anoying to try to work with something that was sorking welll n it is not any more
Mine is fixed! It changed back yesterday....hope my color stays!
Not working here too. The defaults calendars (HOME and WORK) keep changing colors to its defaults BLUE and PURPLE. All devices : MBPro, iMac, iPad and iPhone. Renaming is working fine, but changing colors not !
Me too! All of my colors are back as of this morning
All set. Colors are back. It just switched.
Now, its working again.
