How to edit a playlist iPad iOS 7
Hello,
Since I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 I can't edit an existing playlist as I used to do. What am I doing wrong?
Sincerely,
Carmen
PS: Same for my iPhone :(

BTW, I created this list in iTunes and I'd like to edit it in my iPad.
Yes this statement is correct. You must create a new playlist before the EDIT button will appear. Tap the EDIT button and the plus sign will appear to add your songs. I concur with the previous entries the EDIT button has disappeared on the IOS 7 version.
Just go to the playlist tab, then swipe up and add new playlist appears.
If you have any playlist, even purchased, swipe down on it and "new playlist" appears.
I fixed this problem by simply turning my ipad from holding it in landscape, to holding it in portrait mode, then presto, the playlist edit option magically appeared!
Christoperadam - you must have a magical iPad. Your solution does not work on mine. The issue seems to be that smart playlists created in iTunes cannot be edited on the iPad. Would be nice if Apple made this clear.
Hi ColBill.
Hmm, I do like the sound of a magical ipad.. I don't remember creating a smart playlist on my magical ipad!
Perhaps I have magical playlists too!
Actually, I don't even know what a smart playlist even is [head hung in shame].
Thanks for your message!
Best,
Christopher
Thank you all guys, problem solved!
That's great EricC!
How did you solve it?
FYI. Normal forum etiquette is to explain how it was solved, so as to help others.
Cheers,
C
