Cannot Turn Off Find My iPhone There was a problem deregistering this iPhone with iCloud. Try turning Find My iPhone off again

I can not turn off my find my iphone 5 with iOS 7. I also can not find my iphone using icloud.com and most of my apps ask me to connect to icloud. It's like my phone thinks I am connected to icloud but I am not really connected. I can't force a logout of iCloud unless I can log out of find my iphone. I have literally been stuck for two days. I have regretted going to 7 ever since.

Please help!

What worked for me WITHOUT recovery mode:

1. Connect iPad/iPhone to computer via USB

2. Go fo iCloud on iDevice and turn off the toggle

3. Enter your password but do NOT press enter

4. Get ready to click "Restor Device" under the summary page in iTunes

5. Hit enter on the iDevice and once the process of turning off Find my iPad, click on "Restore Device"

I'm not sure how good your timing needs to be; but it worked first time for me.

@Alksion, this erases the device. You may then fully restore it through the set up process that follows.

I gave my iPad to my wife and wanted to give it to her 'as new'. Therefore, I didn't restore from a back up. This process worked for me.

The only way that you won't be able to do a full restore is if you haven't backed up your device to your computer.

Okay so I have had the same problem but my phone does not have wifi or a functional hold button. So what worked for me was to have the USB cord plugged in the iPhone but NOT the computer then I used the

1. Accessory assistive button and clicked on device and hold it down until the power off slide button comes up.

2. Immediately after seeing the slide off button pop up hold the home button with one hand and slide the off button with the other hand

3. Continue to hold the home button, and while the phone is turning off plug in the USB cord to the computer.

4. Then you Will see that your iTunes doesn't recognize the iPhone so you will be promoted to restore and your iphone should have a black screen with iTunes and the USB cord picture on it.

THIS IS FOR THOSE WHOSE HOLD BUTTON DOES NOT WORK OR WIFI BUTTON DOESNT WORK OR CANT DISCONNECT THE IPHONE FIND FEATURE ON ICLOUD....
