Artwork is not displayed in Remote App

By the way, my artwork never shows up, it's not just slow. It's non existent. But only on the main expanded song view - the artwork appears elsewhere in the app.

As Apple IS getting sloppier and sloppier about this sort of thing, I suspect that they will take an exceptionally long time to fix this (presuming of course that they ever actually do fix it. Something I seriously question)....is there another available app which duplicates Remote and its features?

Perhaps it is time to switch apps....temporarily or otherwise.

Something is currently very wrong in Apple software world. Bungled updates seem to be the modus operandi these days. Remote was a great app wrecked by the iOS8 operating system update. Stop giving fuel to the Androines and sort your life out!

Bring back my album artwork!!!

same here, I was also hoping, that ios8 or 8.1 are gonna solve this problem (as many others as well...), but no luck (with this problem either, as with the others...). Hoping for an update soon (...as with all my apple related problems...).

Isn't it interesting that Apple was issuing Remote updates fast and furious for awhile. Each supposedly fixed one problem or other....yet visibly seems to not make any difference at all. And...now that we have 4.2.1 which very obviously killed a very important feature....Apple hasn't issued an update in nearly four months.

Food for thought.

Here we are...six months after this all hit the fan...Apple still oblivious to the problem and we are stuck without a fix.

Yeah this is VERY annoying to me... I know it shouldn't be but it's a matter of aesthetics and also the principle. The app is broken. It needs to be fixed. I'd revert to the older version, but I have a new phone and no longer have the old versions.

Time to bump this thread and remind Apple that we're still waiting...!!!

Today, almost two years later, Apple released version 4.2.2 of the app. And guess what? They fixed it! 🙂

While I've yet to have the time to really put it through it's paces....the appearance is that 4.2.2 has fixed the problem. I'm not yet ready to state unequivocally that it's been fixed...but that is the appearance as of this writing.

I'm afraid, though, that I cannot offer any thanks to Apple or their drones for attending to the matter. And.....it only took them SEVEN MONTHS to do it. This is just as inexcusable as the problem itself. Especially when one piles on the fact that Apple did everything within their power to ignore the problem and to ignore and silence those of us who tried repeatedly to report it and seek a remedy. This is NOT the Apple of days past. Clearly that Apple has gone the way of the dodo.

So...while I am glad that the problem is fixed, I am NOT glad it took nearly a year for them to get around to it. That borders on negligence. and compleat apathy.

The best I can offer is....it's about F'ing time!!!

PS.... to the Apple Police who will undoubtedly read this and censor it, as they have done with every other post which does not drunkenly sing the Party song and madly wave the Party flag.......I dare you not to on this occasion. Even YOU must realise that Apple dropped this ball in a big way.
