I cant delete my facebook account on the new IOS.

I got the same issue after upgrading to an iPad Air without migrating from a iTunes or iCloud backup.

I do not have that option as described by apply. I have compared my iPad to that of a friend and she does have that option. I think it is time I call apple again....

Hello, all. I had the same issues for months and this is how I managed to solve it this very morning - the "delete account" doesn't work as we all know it. Fortunately I still remembered the password from my old Facebook account and once I inserted it in the iPad Setting > Facebook I immediately had active access to change the associated account. Therefore after inserting the old Facebook account password I could then insert the new Facebook account credentials and delete the old ones. Good luck to you all (it's funny because my old Fbk account doesn't even exist anymore ut as long as I remembered the password I could access that section on iPad)

Hi. I have the same problem, and nothing helps.. I have tried everything now except resetting my iPad! Why can't Apple just fix this problem? The problem I think I have is that I changed my email account so when I'm trying the old password it said "failed" cuz I doesn't match my email :(

Its same with mine. I just reset my Ipad mini. Go to General settings , then rest and after erase all contents and settings. Be sure you know your password in apple. I hope it can help you.

I have tried every single method mentioned in this thread (except for factory reset) and NOTHING works. Apple you're dropping the ball. Very disappointed.

Just not acceptable.

I have searched and tried all solutions listed here and elsewhere. The only thing I could ultimately do was restore my ipad to factory settings. Luckily I haven't had my ipad a week yet, so I didn't lose any thing but a few apps and songs I can get back from the cloud easily. Quite a pain!

Some workaround here: I've restored my iPad air. It works fine, but this issue disappoint me... Bye

I'm in the same boat. I was able to solve the problem on my iPhone 5s by logging out of FB on all devices (including web based) and then the delete account button worked in FB settings on the iPhone. This did not work with my iPad mini running iOS 7. As others have said, the delete account does not work and the iPad looks for a different password. I need to be able to delete the account so I can enter the correct email and password. Very frustrating!
