I cant delete my facebook account on the new IOS.

Well... I spent a couple hours setting up my brand new iPad mini WRD only to have to factory reset and do it all again today because of this problem. Second time this sort of thing has happened. My 5S needed reset to fix an iPhoto not loading problem. Apple needs more quality control. I've been a Mac user since early 90s. Not used to these kind of problems.

Anyway, factory reset solved this problem. I'm not happy about it.

Same issue here. I bought a new iPad Air; I restored it with a iCloud backup of old iPad2 with a working fine Facebook account, but I can't login with new iPad because a wrong account Facebook username. I'm disappointed ... Please fix this issue. thanks.

Seriously.. This is annoying, I can't do anything on my games. Some people might not think games are very important to some people, but to some they are quite important. And go figure games need Facebook for some unknown reason. Please fix this apple and quick. I spent a decent amount of money on your products, this type of thing shouldn't happen. And it sure as **** shouldn't take this long to fix.

Have the exact same problem too. Driving me nuts. It happened straight after last update a few days ago. Keep getting 'can't connect to server'. Please help!!!!

Same problem. JUST tried using a different account, it started acting funky, tried going back to my old account and this is happening. And I've noticed it's been happening for about a month for some people. Dang apple. Step it up.

It's the same problem with me. I can't change the user name nor can I delete the account. Tried deleting the application n getting it back.

I'm having this problem. I had to deactivate and then delete my old Facebook profile. Now I have a new profile with a different email address but the settings section in the iPad is still referring to the old profile and won't let me delete it or add a new one. Very frustrating!

It happened to me again, but I found something that worked for me. I tried the passwords for my other Facebook accounts until one of them worked. The password didn't match the username. It was one for my other account, but somehow it fixed the glitch.

Try this: Settings--> privacy. --> Facebook. And turn it off. Worked for me.

I've also tried everything but I finally got it to work. I had been receiving all the same messages, in the loop, it was to fustrating. The thing that worked for me was to change my Password on my computer @ Facebook and it asked me if I wanted to remove all the devices associated with my FB account and I said yes. Then I restore my ios7 on my iPad mini w/ Retina and set it up as a New iPad (not restore of a back up). I also deleted the app from my App section of iTunes and reinstalled it. Then I added it to my completely restored iPad and it finally asked me for my user name and (new) password instead of just my password. Very fustrating but it worked.

Same problem. Extremely frustrating as I need contacts from fb to work on my iPad. Which is why I bought the tablet in the first place.
