jackli.jones I am having the same problem. It started when I bought my 5S. I made sure the 5 was backed up to iCloud before wiping it. The 5S seemed to pull everything down from the cloud ok. Then I started buying songs from iTunes again. It simply shows them in my Purchased library but not actually on the phone memory. I hit download repeatedly, it indicates that it's doing that and when complete it indicates that the song is still in the cloud..........when I connect to iTunes on my PC, it shows that it is in my phone library and my general music library.....but I can't see it in the Music app song listing on the 5S. It also stated the same as traclyn72 that it had "never been backed up to iCloud" - only to PC.
I went to the Apple store and they agreed with what I was seeing but had no solution and suggested it was the iTunes program, uninstall & reinstall it......which I did. No change.
I then discovered that there were two phones showing in the manage backups display. I deleted the old phone, no change and then deleted the new ("This iPhone") and started again. The backup has sat overnight, eventually saying at various times 10 hours remaining, 25 hours and eventually 75 hours!! I cancelled the backup and again it says "incomplete" and I have 7.4GB available of 15GB. Obviously it maintains that "it has never been backed up to iCloud". It does say it has been backed up to PC.
The Apple store consultant ran diagnostics and basically said if you have no luck, bring the phone and PC into the store.....which is 2 hours away! I'm sure there's a solution. Any help would be appreciated.!
