Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Since I have downloaded ios7 to my iphone 4s I am no longer getting any sounds when recording videos. When looking back at past videos I have recorded, they still have sound in the playback. I have tried resetting my phone and reseting it to factory settings. Any recommendations?

Mine was working perfectly, latest upgrades, bluetooth on etc. then I noticed no sound on recently taken video.
Did re-boot, no change.
Then tried original charging wire (have been using a replacement as the original was looking tatty)
Instant fix.
Definitely something to do with the multi pin plug, replacement in-car charger/cord simply doesn't do the job properly.
Thanks williamsteel! I feel pretty silly, but maybe this post will help others. I tried and tried to play a video that the night before played with audio, but at this time does not. I checked the volume x2, played from iPhoto app and Camera app, rebooted my phone x 2, checked settings, played another video (also no audio) and was really scratching my head. Solution: I didn't realize my bluetooth headset happened to be on in my purse. All audio was going to that. Oops.
iPhone 6+ running iOS 9.3.2
I can't believe it, I cleaned the components (microphone, speaker, port) with a little brush and BAM the sound on my videos was working again. Easy solution!

My video stopped recording sound as well. I have an iphone 6. It’s so annoying. I’d buy a new phone if I could afford it but iphones are too expensive now.
