Oct 23, 2013 1:37 PM in response to mikehudsby matt00,Hey mikehuds,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with iTunes Wi-Fi Sync. The following resource may help to resolve your issue:
iTunes 10.5 and later: Troubleshooting iTunes Wi-Fi Syncing

Thanks,
Matt M.

Nov 11, 2013 8:40 AM in response to mikehudsby Dave The Nerd,I, too, am having this issue, as are many of our listeners. I've tried everything in TS4062 to no avail... even tried disabling the "sync over WiFi" in iTunes and re-enabling it, all to no avail. Doesn't seem limited to iOS 7, either, though the timing of this problem certainly is in sync with that release. But my iOS 6-based iPad also doesn't appear/sync/backup over WiFi anymore, either.

Nov 13, 2013 10:12 PM in response to matt00by Brian Garrett,I agree - this isn't the issue on my end either. I'm an all-Apple network in the house, all routers are current, rebooted (as per the kb) and functioning. Nothing has changed on my end that should have stopped the wifi synching.
Back to the drawing board.

Nov 23, 2013 8:36 PM in response to mikehudsby StrikeEagleIII,I had this issue and what appears to have solved it for me was to check "Manually manage music and videos" on the Summary page of the device in iTunes.

Dec 21, 2013 12:45 PM in response to mikehudsby booleanman,It looks like there are bugs in iOS 7 involving wifi syncing. I've spent about 2 months with AppleCare support trying to resolve wifi syncing issues with iOS 7 devices and iTunes with various macs on various networks, and it's just broken for some users.
As of Dec 21, 2013, I was informed that the engineers were out of troubleshooting options and they were investigating the problem as a bug.
The bug doesn't seem to affect everyone, but if you are affected, I'd suggest that you continue syncing over USB until a fix is issued in a future build of iOS/iTunes.

Dec 21, 2013 2:34 PM in response to booleanmanby Brian Garrett,This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. When reading their "fix" steps of resetting the wireless network I immediately smelled a rat as both my wife and I have the same model of iPhones, are on the same home network and her synchs and mine doesn't. So that completely and immediately rules out the network.
Hopefully they fix this in an upcoming release.

Dec 29, 2013 6:06 AM in response to booleanmanby christophe v.,Same issue here. Each new update is bring its lot of new bugs after having fixed some. In the mean time all of us are spending countless hours trying to figure out what has been changed and where the problem could come from rather than just using the devices for what they are meant to. Will it stop one day ? I suppose not. When you see that an app like "Map" can be put out on the market you can imagine anything when it come to Quality Control .. In this respect Mac have catch-up very much on the PCs. Apple can buy MS any time it won't make any difference. What a shame when I think what was the Mac in the 90s.

Dec 29, 2013 6:33 AM in response to mikehudsby booleanman,If you want Apple to prioritize a fix, I'd suggest that anyone who has this problem go to https://bugreport.apple.com, and file a bug report. That's going to be more effective than posting in the discussions.

Feb 17, 2014 11:14 PM in response to mikehudsby G3R3N,Go to System Preferences > Network and under Locations (at the top) click "Edit Locations" and add a New location, then click done. Once the new location is set, make sure you click "Apply" at the bottom right of Network Preferences.
Close iTunes, reboot your iPhone, make sure both the phone and the Mac are on the same wi-fi network and open iTunes to see if the iPhone has reappeared.
This is, of course, assuming you're using a Mac.

Feb 18, 2014 1:48 AM in response to mikehudsby グードゲーム,Are any of you using windows? If you are, you will need to ensure that iTunes is “loading” with the correct wireless network。
Hence this may help you: (Windows Vista/7/8)
1) Ensure that iTunes is not running and that both your iPod/iPad and your P・C・ are connected to the same wireless network。
2) Now open Control Panel。
3) Now go to Network and Internet (Or straight to Network and Sharing Centre straight away in Icon View^^)
4) On the left hand side、in the 'margin' almost、 there is a button to go to “Change Adapter Settings”、 click on that。
5) Now you should see all active networks as icons。
6) The point here is、 if there are multiple active、 iTunes may load looking for the iPod/iPad on the wrong network、which seems to occur even for Bluetooth networks! So try disabling every network that isn't the network that both your P・C・and iPod/iPad are connected to (every step here is reversible、 if needs be)。 Now ensure the Bonjour Service is running in Services and start up iTunes。
This has helped my friend so far、but there may be other problems for other people、still、I hope this helps someone!(^∇^)I have no Mac solution、sorry (T ^ T)・
