Aperture 3.5 is out

Aperture 3.5 is now up on the App Store.

Note that it might be a couple of hours before it shows up on your App Store, depending on where in the world you are.

selecting english as main language and US as region worked for me - after a quick rebook the update was there. I wonder if it was only necessary once or if I will never receive update notifications again after switching back to german.. Anyway, I can open my library again, that's enough for now. Thank everyone for supporting tips, you were more helpful than the Apple hotline.

Hi TD,

I have read your User Tip about File Management for Iphoto.

I am trying to back up all my data, but I cant find that iphoto Icon..... and actually I find iphoto a bit compilcated.

Maybe because I am not spending enogh time to "study" it.

I am basically a new user for Apple and I found everything made so simple for users, but I can't figure out anything about iphoto. First it is running extreamly slow ( must admit I hv thousands of fotos, which I hv collected over the past 10 years :-).... maybe even longer).

I used to have all my photos in a normal file folder separated in different folder of years etc etc... it took me a lot of time to do so. So, i thought when using iphoto it will be much easier,.... but it is very very slow and complicated.

U have mentioned aperture here, is it more user friendly like for dummies 😉 like me?

Can i just drag a file and back up my data?

How can i remove my iphoto and use aperture?

Is it easy to copy new photos from camera to usb?

Sorry if i am not clear enough....

Aperture 3.5 is out
