After downloading OS X Mavericks, I can now no longer access any of Apple Applications

After downloading OS X Mavericks, I can now no longer access any of Apple Applications that need internet access such as Safari, Itunes Store, App Store, and Mail. Google Chrome works just fine but I need to be able to access these other apps. When I open Safari, part of the loading bar will loard then stop. The Itunes Store just says "Itunes Store". The App Store just says has the apps logo. None of my new mail will load. What can I do to solve this problem? Google Chrome works just fine but none of my Apple applications work any longer. I have a 2009 Macbook which was on the approved list of computers that could support Mavericks.

I tried safe boot and it doesn't work. Just makes my computer very slow. I do not have any third party apps running like the ones previously suggested.

I have a Genius Bar appointment on Saturday if we cannot solve the problem by then. If it is not solved by then, I will let everyone know what the person says at the Mac store.

Hi,

In System Preferences > Users and Groups can you create a New Mac User Account ?

Log out of your current everyday account and try the app in the new account.

Also check System Preferences > Internet Accounts are allowing the correct apps for the Apple IDs you might use with them.
