Anyone else noticed how Mavericks uses memory ?
I have a new Macbook Air 2013 with 4GB of memory and after a short wile.
The system have used 3.99GB of the total 4GB 😟 Isn't that a big problem. Thats can't be right.
I would think that the computer would suffer greatly after a short time of use and the computer
needs to be restarted. If thats true. The new Mavericks ***** big time on Computers with less
memory. Or is there something i don't know.

Totally wrong answers , yes it consume more memory , i use memory clean when it get slower , Apple S U C K , why mountain Lion is faster for what... come on apple fails in OS field , i have same mac book pro installed windows 8 dual boot and windows 8 runs like a jet

It won't last. Mavericks has a new memory management system that will attempt to keep RAM full at all times, so purging it periodically is actually counter-productive. When the system needs to load something new it will begin to compress memory, then start purging the least used cached files to make room. Don't worry about RAM being full all the time, that's the way it's designed to be. See How to use Activity Monitor and click on the Memory box. As long as MEMORY PRESSURE doesn't turn Red, you should be find. If it does, time to shop for more RAM.
No : that what APPLE said , but in reality it is a problem , if you are using any sort of program such as imovie you face memory problem , its a overall kernel issue, and can be fix by apple , but i do not think they going to worry about it because they move to another OSX, OSX Mavericks has this issue ....
