None of the old tools such as Onyx or Loginox have been updated, and none of the previous manual methods of performing this seem to be working for me either.

Thanks for the tip, but the shortcut doesn’t get executed quickly enough to still capture the login screen.

EDIT:

Tried it once more, now completely shutting the Mac down before logging in, then it’s working.

Thanks, again!

If anyone knows of another method to get screen capture from the with the user icons listed, that would still be great.

I have found the solution!

If you look carefully at the Apple product in front of you you will see the words:

"Designed by Apple in California, assembled in China"

https://www.google.com.gi/search?q=designed+by+apple+in+california+assembled+in+ china&espv=210&es_sm=119&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=hjvUUoj3KsaM0AW74oDQ Aw&ved=0CCYQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=679

I suggest we all read:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poorly_Made_in_China

I did, and it opened my mind and closed my wallet.

I always did like Linux.

Regards,

Adrian.
