How to customise toolbar in Pages 5?
Hi, I have the new Pages 5, but would like to customise it to put the Print button on the toolbar. Have I missed something, it seems to have disappeared from the View section?
Thanks

Yes, it more than a 'bit' stripped down. I understand Apple strategy to have a common UI/feature set online, in iOs and on OSX, but it makes iWork suite not usable.- coming from 09.
Sorry, right now it's iCantWork. It should have been renamed iWork Mini 1.0 and not an update to the current suite.
I also understand why it's a free update.
To save room on my SSD I removed the new version and live with the 09 one for now.
The other annoying thing is that I had to unselect automatic updates on the systems, to remove the App store reminders to update iWork.
Hi folks,
Apple just released a list of what is coming back in future versions of iWork (all 3 apps). Might be useful re: deciding whether or not to stick with the new, or revert to the old, version(s). FYI: toolbar customization is on the 'coming soon' list.
Here's the link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6049?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
This has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen from Apple.
I have been a MS Office fan all of my life and might just buy the suite for my Apple computers.
Thank God 09 was not removed 🙂
OMG they actually changed it in the new Update! So everyone who wants to cusomise their toolbar can now do so in View - customise toolbar. Hurray!
Well done Apple for being responsive.

I have an interesting issue - my iMac says that it has installed Pages 5.0.1, but the program is still 5.0 and i have no way to customize the toolbar - anyone know how to fix this issue?
Thanks

My Mac was built in December 2013 and I've just started using Pages instead of MS Word.
It says it is version 5.0 and Help tells me how to customise the toolbar but there is no option there to do so.
Any suggestions?
Thanks. :-)
I'd suggest an Uninstall and Reinstall.
Go to LaunchPad, click and hold an icon until they all begin to wiggle. Click the X on Pages.
Then go to Mac App Store.app and reinstall Pages from the Purchases tab. If you are properly logged into the App Store account, this won't cost you a thing.
