Three finger swipe no longer works on Mavericks

I've lost three finger swipe in Finder, Safari, and iTerm. The latter is third party and hasn't changed so likely it's an OS level issue. Strangely swipe still works in Chrome.

I think I might've solved it with this Terminal command

killall rcd

At least it started working again around the time I did that. But I will have to double check next time it appears again.

Not sure if my use case is the same, however here it goes...

On Mavericks, my Track Pad has no problems with Three Finger Swipe taking me between desktops. However three finger swipe on my Apple Mouse has stopped working to swap me between desktops. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now.

I see I posted in the wrong thread. Killing rcd would do nothing to help swipe in Finder, sorry about the noice.

I found out that the apps have to be in "full screen" in order for the three finger swipe to work.

I downloaded the Mavrickes and it was still working but once I applied the finder tabs, it disappeared

Get over it, move on. Just as Mac is now Unix; 3finger swipe is gone; and neither are changing. sheesh.

Alright, after testing a while, I figured that after putting the browser (tested on Chrome and Safari) in full screen mode, the 3 finger event gets recognized as swipe instead of scroll. This is also true for System Preference

window but not for Finder. My gesture settings below.

This means that you can not use the 3-finger drag and drop (and the double click to drag doesn't work either at least for me), but hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
