Can't open Preview/Calendar/App store/iBooks/Terminal/Mail after updated to Mavericks

I have a similiar issues. Mail, Maps and Contacts will not open.

I tried Repair Permissions, starting in Safe Mode and the PRAM reset. Could the problem be somehow related to iCoud? The iCloud settings and Internet Accounts settings under System Preferences freeze and cannot be modified.

I called Apple and after troubleshooting the customer support representative suggested that I reinstall Mavericks. It took more than two hours to install, so I'm hoping that won't be necessary.

I can only change what is synched to iCloud, but that doesn't seem to help with my problem of launching the apps on my MacBook Pro.

I had the same problem. I reformatted and installed Mavericks from scratch and it works. It seems to be related to iCloud.

Evi, I have the same problem. When I first updated to Mavericks, everything is OK, but I use Cleanmymac too, It is may be because of Cleanmymac, it cleaned about 1G files.

Now I can not open App Store, how can I download and reinstall Mavericks?

I had the same problem with you. After i used Cleamymac i cannot open most of apps from Apple.
